Wolves Cub Scouts

I became a Wolf Den Leader four months ago and I being loving it!! We just had a camp-out at Brazos Bend State park. I had six new wolves attending the crossover ceremony. We have an amazing Pack. Asistieron seis nuevos lobatos. Mi

They got all their faces painted as an iniciation ceremony. each color meant one of the values in cub scouts.
Ian received his Wolf book.

We saw lots of birds, racoons, deers, and alligators!! This one is a three-month old baby one. We had the opportunity to pet it. they kept them will they are 6 months old. Then, they let them free in the marsh!!! Vimos muchas aves, mapaches, venaods y lagartos!!!

This is one that we saw. It was about 3-4 feet long. We caught his eyes and nose only.

A raccon ate our diner but all kids fall in love with them!! ian said "I love its blck and white tail."

What an incredible experience. We learned about oak trees, we saw huge vines, we walk around the marsh, with its great wildlife habitat. Typically the water in the marsh is shallow and features grasses, different from swamps. Those wetlands are disappearing because of construction. We are glad we had a teaching opportunity of nature while enjoying the hiking trails around the lakes, and the marshes.
