Teething is being a great challenge for my dear JJ. Finally, he got 4 teeth up and 4 down plus molars. He looks more like a toddler now. He even pretends that he munches, crunches, and chews. Even if he has little tiny pieces of food in his mouth. This is so exciting for us because JJ is the first of our children to be able to do that at age one. Ian got an oral motor delay until almost 2 and a half years old. We realize of the miracle of our bodies. The tongue is a muscle. It moves from side to side in a cup shape in order to create a small ball of food. The rounded food is easier to go down the track and ready to start the digestion process. Not only the tongue is good to eat but also to speak. Oh well, after all the scientific explanation, the great miracle may seem unnoticed to many. But for us it is the a blessing!!
